The role involves operating a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials within our facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a forklift to move materials within the recycling facility
  • Load and unload trucks with recyclable materials
  • Ensure proper storage and organisation of materials
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on the forklift
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations

Requirements:

  • Valid forklift operator's license
  • Proven experience as a forklift driver, preferably in a recycling or waste management environment
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
