About the Role

Overview:

Reporting to the Head of Project Delivery, the Senior Project Manager for Capital Delivery will be responsible for the management of multi-disciplinary projects, teams, and stakeholders within Beauparc, a leading corporation in the waste management industry in the UK and Ireland. The role involves working closely with Beauparc’s senior leadership team to ensure projects are completed and successfully transferred to the relevant business unit within the Beauparc group of companies. The first project will be based in Leeds, managing the build of a new processing plant, with a requirement to travel to other sites across the UK and Ireland.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate input from internal stakeholders, third-party consultants, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Ensure implementation of best practice and corporate policies and practices in project delivery.
  • Facilitate, attend, and contribute to meetings.
  • Schedule works programs.
  • Develop processes, tools, and techniques to support project delivery.
  • Prepare and support the development and maintenance of monthly reports for delivery to senior management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management.
  • Manage assigned budgets, typically in excess of £5 million.
  • Critically review project documentation and track costs, program, risk, and resourcing to assess project health and identify and escalate issues early.
  • Maintain quality, health, safety and environmental responsibility for projects.

Qualifications:

  • Third-level Engineering or Project Management qualification.
  • Significant experience in construction project management and process engineering.
  • 5+ years of post-third level experience in a senior project management role, preferably in the waste management sector.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex engineering projects with budgets exceeding £5 million.
  • Full Clean Driving License.
  • Strong knowledge of UK construction requirement and willingness to obtain knowledge of Irish construction requirements.
  • Budget Management expertise.
